Wild & Free
From the misty depths of the Louisiana swamps, we've created the world's first swamp Spanish moss Camo. Unique patterns inspired by the Atchafalaya Basin, Avery Island, Catahoula, Lake Martin and Butte La Rose. Each design echoing tangled vines and shadowy bayous while blending you right in with the gators and ancient cypress trees.
GatorFlage: Wild & Free
Each image in our collection comes from one of the five historical landmarks in the great state of Louisiana, where the Cajun people are "Wild & Free."
The Avery Island: Avery Island is actually a salt dome in Iberia Parish. It is the birthplace of Tabasco Sauce, created in 1868. Avery Island is one of Mr. Bordelon’s favorites, because he was the Cajun voice for “Chef Claude,” for the Tabasco's kiosk in their museum.
Lake Martin: Lake Martin, located in St. Martin Parish, is a wildlife preserve and one of Louisiana's well known swamplands. It is also considered one of the best kayaking locations in the state, where visitors can see alligators, turtles, birds, and other wildlife up close.
The Atchafalaya: The nation’s largest river swamp. It is deeply tied to the culture and landscape of South Louisiana. This pattern is one of the locals favorites.
The Butte La Rose: Butte La Rose is French for, “The Rose Hill.” It is a community that is located on a high point where the Atchafalaya River makes a sharp bend and divides into the Little Atchafalaya River to the south and the Upper Grand River to the north.
The Catahoula: Catahoula Louisiana is one of North America’s greatest duck stops. Historically capable of holding hundreds of thousands of ducks at one time. The old hunters in Catahoula would cover their blinds with Spanish Moss.
